Affiliate Terms
Thank you for your interest in the Nuggets of Wisdom Affiliate Program. We are grateful for homeschool parents, educators, and creators who share Nuggets of Wisdom resources with their communities.
This program allows approved affiliates to earn commissions by referring customers to Nuggets of Wisdom products and curriculum.
Commission Structure
Approved affiliates earn commissions when a customer makes a purchase using their affiliate link.
Current commission rates are:
• 20% commission on eligible Nuggets of Wisdom products created and owned by Nuggets of Wisdom
• 10% commission on Living Lights Curriculum
• 8% commission on eligible contractor or partner products sold through the Nuggets of Wisdom website
Commission rates may change during special promotions or campaigns.
Cookie Duration
Affiliate links use a 45-day tracking cookie.
If a visitor clicks your affiliate link and makes a purchase within 45 days, you will receive credit for that sale.
Payment Schedule
Affiliate payouts are issued monthly on the 27th.
Payments are only issued for completed purchases after the refund window has passed.
At this time, payouts are issued by check mailed to the address on file or PayPal payments will be issued. *Any fees associated with PayPal payouts will be the responsibility of the affiliate receiving the payment. These fees will be deducted from the affiliate’s payout.
Affiliates are responsible for ensuring their mailing information is accurate.
Affiliate commissions are only paid on completed sales. If a purchase is refunded, cancelled, charged back, or disputed, the corresponding commission will be reversed or deducted from the affiliate’s account balance.
Contributor & Affiliate Commission Policy
Some Nuggets of Wisdom products are collaborative products created with contributing authors or curriculum partners.
These products include but are not limited to:
• Living Lights Curriculum
• Nuggets of Wisdom Subscription Bundles
Contributors to these products may receive a revenue share or royalty as part of their contributor agreement.
To maintain fair compensation across the program:
Contributors may not receive both a contributor revenue share and an affiliate commission on the same product sale.
If a contributor promotes a product they helped create using an affiliate link, the contributor will receive their normal contributor revenue share only, and no additional affiliate commission will be issued for that product sale.
Contributors are still eligible to earn affiliate commissions on all other Nuggets of Wisdom products where they do not already receive a revenue share.
Affiliate commissions apply to the initial purchase only unless otherwise stated.
Acceptable Promotion Methods
Affiliates are encouraged to share Nuggets of Wisdom using:
• Blogs
• Email newsletters
• Homeschool groups
• Social media
• Curriculum reviews
• Resource lists
Affiliates should promote products honestly and clearly.
Prohibited Practices
Affiliates may not:
Send spam or unsolicited emails promoting Nuggets of Wisdom
Misrepresent Nuggets of Wisdom products or curriculum
Use deceptive advertising or misleading claims
Bid on Nuggets of Wisdom brand name keywords in paid advertising without written permission
Use affiliate links for personal purchases
Violation of these rules may result in removal from the affiliate program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.
Independent Contractor Status
Affiliates participating in the Nuggets of Wisdom Affiliate Program are independent contractors and are not employees, partners, or representatives of Nuggets of Wisdom.
Affiliates are solely responsible for their own business practices, marketing activities, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Participation in this program does not create an employment, partnership, or joint venture relationship.
FTC Disclosure Requirement
Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship when promoting Nuggets of Wisdom products.
Examples of acceptable disclosures include:
• “This post contains affiliate links.”
• “I may earn a commission if you purchase through my link.”
Disclosures must comply with the guidelines of the Federal Trade Commission and must be clearly visible to readers.
Failure to properly disclose affiliate relationships may result in removal from the program.
Limitation of Liability Clause
Limitation of Liability
Nuggets of Wisdom is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to participation in the affiliate program.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• tracking failures
• website outages
• lost commissions due to technical errors
• interruptions in service
Total liability shall not exceed the total commissions paid to the affiliate in the previous twelve months.
Intellectual Property Protection
Use of Brand and Intellectual Property
Affiliates may use the Nuggets of Wisdom name and approved promotional materials solely for the purpose of promoting Nuggets of Wisdom products.
Affiliates may not:
• modify the Nuggets of Wisdom logo
• create misleading brand representations
• claim ownership of Nuggets of Wisdom materials
• reproduce or distribute curriculum materials without permission
All intellectual property remains the property of Nuggets of Wisdom.
Fraud Protection Clause
Fraudulent Activity
Nuggets of Wisdom reserves the right to investigate and reverse commissions resulting from fraudulent activity, including but not limited to:
• self-referrals
• fake transactions
• coupon misuse
• automated or bot traffic
Accounts found engaging in fraudulent activity may be terminated and unpaid commissions forfeited.
Right to Modify or End the Program
Program Modifications
Nuggets of Wisdom reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the affiliate program at any time.
This includes changes to:
• commission rates
• payout thresholds
• program policies
Affiliates will be notified of major changes when possible.
Educational Disclaimer
Nuggets of Wisdom provides educational resources and curriculum materials. Results may vary based on each family's educational approach and implementation.
Coupons on public websites.
Affiliate coupons may not be listed on public coupon websites.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
