Teaching science from a Christian perspective is so important because it provides a deeper understanding of the natural world as God’s creation. A Christian worldview sees science not as opposing faith but as a way to explore and understand the intricate design of God’s universe. The Bible teaches that God is the Creator of everything (Genesis 1:1), and that everything in nature reflects His glory and wisdom.

A Christian approach to science emphasizes that the study of the natural world is a way to honor God. Proverbs 3:19 states, "The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath He established the heavens." This teaches students that science is not just about discovering facts but about recognizing the wisdom and purpose behind creation. When students are taught that science and faith can coexist, they are more likely to see scientific exploration as an act of worship, seeking to understand the beauty and complexity of God’s work.  One way you can do that is through hands-on learning.

Teaching science from a Christian perspective helps students see the world through the lens of God’s truth and design, strengthening their faith while expanding their knowledge. It connects scientific discovery with worship, ethics, and a responsibility to care for creation, enriching the learning experience and providing a more holistic view of the world around us.
