Attributes of God Through the Alphabet "Cc"
Attributes of God Through the Alphabet "Cc"
This is MORE than just a letter “Cc” print worksheet. It is a creative and educational way to introduce the concept of learning the attributes of God as shown in the scriptures.
With this worksheet, the child will first hear a verse read that contains a word that describes God starting with the letter “Cc”: Creator. Child will then practice writing the capital and lowercase letter “Cc” a few times. At that time, parent/teacher can review with child the letter name and the sounds it makes.
After the printing practice of individual letters, it will then be reiterated to the child how God is “Creator” as they practice some more penmanship and tracing abilities with the whole attribute word! The child’s vocabulary is also being enhanced by learning these words and how they relate to their Creator God!
Dictionary skills are also introduced with this worksheet! When all printing is done, a discussion can be had on what the word “Creator” means. Child and parent/teacher will look up the attribute word together in a reputable dictionary to find the meaning and gain a deeper understanding of God’s character and nature!
Freebie suggestions for further study and/or conceptual understanding:
• Look up some worship songs related to how God is “Creator” and listen to them with the child!
• Look up more verses in scripture that use the word “Creator” and discuss if they are describing God or a different person or situation.
• Have child think of other “Cc” words and discuss if they can be descriptors of God as well. Search out the scriptures together and see if those words can be found.
I hope this resource blesses you! Of course, if you ever have any questions, comments, or criticisms I’d love to hear from you so I can grow in my educational resource design endeavors. Thanks so much for considering my work!
