Beginning Sound BINGO Card Set
Beginning Sound BINGO Card Set
I created this fun and interactive Beginning Sound BINGO Card Set to help my students practice identifying the beginning sound in words.
Why is identifying the beginning sound in a word important?
● It builds a strong foundation for children to build phonemic awareness.
● It helps children with sound discrimination.
● Understanding that letters are made up of sounds helps children to read and write fluently.
This resource contains 25 pages that you can print and laminate. You will need to find your own markers/chips to play this BINGO game. I cut mine out from cardstock and they have lasted quite a long time.
This resource can be used:
● In a homeschool or co-op setting.
● As a whole group classroom activity.
● In a small group setting.
I hope you have a great time playing this game with your child/student!!
