CVC Word Picture Cards

I created this colorful and interactive resource to use with my reading intervention students. This resource contains 12 PRINTABLE pages of cards. 11 pages which contain 66 INDIVIDUAL color picture cards and one answer sheet that provides all the cvc words that you see in the pictures. I have found this resource to last much longer if I printed it on cardstock and then laminated the cards.

While this resource focuses on CVC words there are MANY uses for it.

Here are several of the ways I use it with my students:
● Phonemic Awareness Activities
○ To identify the beginning sound in the word.
○ To identify the middle sound in the word.
○ To identify the ending sound in the word.
○ To do picture sorts by beginning /middle or ending sound in
the word.

● Phonics Activities
○ To have children write the cvc word that goes along with each
picture.
○ To have the children build the cvc word that goes along with
each picture using magnetic letters.
