This is a first-time introduction to the concept of even and odd numbers.
This is for first to second grade students.
The Unit does talk about the concept of multiplying and dividing, but the student does not need to multiply and divide to complete this unit.

The worksheets include:

Sorting groups of teddy bears onto the odd shelf or the even shelf.
Dividing even number groups of teddy bears into pairs (division lesson).
Add 2 odd numbers to get an even number through pictures.
Add an odd number to an even number to get an odd number through pictures.
Subtract an odd number from an even number to get an odd number through pictures. Subtract an odd number from an odd number to get an even number through pictures. Sort even and odd numbers into the even and odd baskets.
