2) Movie Poster Script (1 page)

This worksheet practices descriptive and persuasive writing.

3) Movie Storyboard (1 page)

This worksheet focuses on visual descriptions.

4) In-depth Character Study (2 pages)

This character study can be used multiple times for main or supporting characters. This study is an opinion writing worksheet discussing the learner's initial character impression and how this changes over time, as well as any character development to include evidence.

5) Alternative Ending (2 pages)

This worksheet discusses the ending of the movie as an opinion piece and sets the learner the exercise of writing an alternative ending. Learners are also asked to write a persuasive paragraph explaining why their ending would be better than the original.

This response booklet provides learners with the opportunity to practice writing opinion pieces, reporting on facts, descriptive writing, persuasive writing and creative writing.
