Rhyming Dominoes Game

Phonemic Awareness is a critical foundational piece as young children begin the journey to becoming fluent readers. Along the way, I enjoy reviewing the basic phonemic awareness skills such as rhyming, in a fun and interactive way.

This set of rhyming dominoes does just that. It gives children a way to listen to words and decide if they hear a rhyme and to do it while having fun and playing a game.

This game includes 80 dominoes with pictures of rhyming words on them. It also includes directions for prepping the dominoes and for playing the game.

My Pre-K and Kindergarten students love these! I have also used them in my reading intervention groups with 1st and 2nd graders who need some more practice with their phonemic awareness skills. This game is perfect for a homeschool or co-op setting as well.
