Learners select a character from any fairy tale or fictional story and examine the character’s traits, actions, role, and lessons learned.
Learners will illustrate their chosen character, identify three character traits, and support each trait with evidence from the story. They will also write a short character summary, explain the lesson the character learns—or should have learned—and rate the story.
The included character-traits word bank provides additional support, while the 30-point rubric makes expectations clear and grading simple.
