Story:

I have a son who is beginning reading lessons and he likes to work independently, so I made 20 worksheets in which he will have to sound out a 3-letter short vowel word and match it with a picture. He enjoys this and I can add it to the little packet of papers that I give him on school days, and he will appreciate it and the extra practice will help him familiarize him with more words.
